Terms of use

The service

Nightwatch helps moderation teams: sanctions, member files, history, reports and appeals, and other modules. It is provided for free by Achille, as a personal project.

Access

You need a Discord account and must follow Discord's terms of service and community guidelines. Nightwatch is not affiliated with Discord Inc.

Role of server administrators

• They choose what they turn on and remain responsible for how they use the moderation tools.
• If they turn on message history, they tell their server's members (in the rules, for instance).
• They respect the law and members' rights, including on personal data.

Forbidden uses

• Harassing, abusively monitoring or exposing members.
• Using the service to get around Discord's rules.
• Trying to disrupt, attack or access without permission the service or other servers' data.

Availability

The service is provided as is, without any guarantee of continuous availability. It evolves: features marked "Soon" aren't available yet and may change.

Suspension

If the service is used against these terms or the law, a server's or a user's access can be suspended, and the bot removed from a server.

Liability

Moderation decisions are made by the servers' teams. Achille can't be held liable for those decisions nor for the service being unavailable, to the extent permitted by law.

Personal data

The privacy policy describes the data kept and your rights.
